What time commitment can members expect?

All new members are required to complete our six-week NME program in their first semester, which consists of lectures, group case studies, and deliverables.

Outside NME, ETC has general body meetings for site visits, conferences, and speaker events, which occur every 2-3 weeks. Project team analysts also meet with their teams weekly. Members can generally expect a time commitment of 1-2 hours per week.

What work will I do in ETC?

Through partnerships with industry organizations, ETC leads analytical project teams and site visits. ETC analysts devise energy solutions in interactive research projects about pressing issues in the energy industry. NME culminates in a capstone project where members research and develop innovative solutions to energy challenges both on campus and abroad.
